Welcome to Parent Zone, we hope you find this area useful. On this page you will find some parental aids with which you can help your children at home during homework tasks or any other extra work they may wish to do.

Some of the links are for interactive games that you can play with your children in order to enhance their understanding of a specific subject or topic area.

English

In class, children use writing mats to help them improve their writing. There are 3 types of writing mats used: ‘working towards’, ‘working at the expected standard’ and ‘working at greater depth’. You can find these on the English Curriculum page.

We use Mathletics to set some weekly Maths homework and children love to go on this exciting interactive site to learn new skills or to practise skills they have learnt at school. http://uk.mathletics.com/ (your child has a username and password for this).
