The Governing Board, The Knaphill Federation of Schools

Welcome from Knaphill Federation of Schools Governing board

Dear Parents and Members of our school community,

We hope that as you visit the pages of the Knaphill Federation of Schools website you will discover what a rich and exciting educational environment the schools create for the children of our community.

The Governing board consist of a team of parents and members of the local community who care deeply about providing the best possible opportunities for your children.

Our team consists of members who hold or have held a wide variety of different professional roles and each of us brings a different area of expertise to the table. We do our role as volunteers, and we are not involved in the day to day running of the school. We are a critical friend to the school leadership team and provide strategic direction. The Governing body is there to challenge the school leadership team by scrutinising key decisions and asking pertinent questions. Through regular meetings we continually review and refine the quality of provision to ensure that the school offers the best possible educational experience for your children.

We aim for staff and children to achieve the highest possible standards, ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and staff, monitor the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning provision, and scrutinise the management of finances and resources.

In doing so we aspire to support the school in providing an exciting education for your children, so they enjoy their school experience, can work in a supportive environment and achieve success.

As members of our community, we welcome your views and your input.

You can contact Marleen Naessens our Chair of Governors on chair@kfos.co.uk if you have any questions or would like to contribute.
