Smart School Council

Key Stage 2

We are all about giving our children a voice and combining it with the opportunity to create change in our school and community.

We are delighted that Knaphill School has its own Smart School Council.

Through our regular Smart School Council meetings everyone in the school has the chance be heard.

We hold class meetings and children within each class take it in turns to run these meetings and take the meeting notes. During each meeting, a pupil- selected question is discussed. It is a fantastic opportunity for our children to develop their debate and oracy skills. An elected member of the Communication Team from each class shares ideas with the Senior Leadership Team. This leads to genuine pupil-led change.
